NAWEA brings together researchers, scholars, and industry experts to drive innovation and collaboration in wind energy. As Chair of the Conference Committee, I lead a team to oversee the organization of the annual NAWEA/WindTech Conference, encouraging collaboration and partnerships between industry and academia. The NAWEA/WindTech conference is the leading event for wind energy research and technology in North America. I have also held many roles in the NAWEA organization over the years including leading the scientific committee from 2019 to 2022.
