The negative tip vortices blade (US Patent 12,066,002, 2024) is an innovative technology that improves aerodynamic power extraction from wind turbine blades. This technology was developed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and has obtained funding from the Department of Energy and was part of Energy ICorps.
